 DOWNHILL - ALPINE SKIINGThe garni La Baita is only 100 m / 328 ft from the local ski facilities, situated in the middle of the Civetta ski area, the largest in the Veneto region. Civetta Ski area is part of Dolomiti Superski, a consortium of 12 ski resorts (1200 km / 745 mi. of runs), a ski circuit renowned for the beauty of its environment. The Civetta ski area offers 80 km of blue, red and black runs with perfectly prepared snow (featuring the latest snowmaking systems) and 28 new lifts facilities. On the side of Val di Zoldo, a short walk from the garni, the two beautiful slopes of Foppe and Cristelin, one of which was an Alpine Ski World Cup run, are clearly illuminated for enjoyable night skiing. Tuesday to Saturday from 19.00 to 23.00, all and every evening during Christmas holiday period. Just 50 m / 164 ft from the garni, is the Funny Ski School and its team of accredited instructors, trainers and teachers, specifically for children. Should you need to hire ski equipment, there is a well stocked ski rental 100 m / 328 ft from the garni. |
