 SPORT FISHINGThe main watercourse flowing through the valley of Zoldo is the Torrente Maè. It originates at the base of Monte Civetta, about 40 minutes walk from the garni, and a few kilometres further on it is joined by its first tributary, the Rio Canedo. Starting from the garni, a few minutes stroll leads to the clear, well oxygenated water of the two streams and here you can enjoy a pleasant day of fishing, completely immersed in unspoilt nature. The species of freshwater fish in the watercourses of Val di Zoldo is the brown trout (Salmo trutta morpha fario). Apply for your fishing licence at the information office of Zoldo Alto. |
